The evolution of what is now one of my most frequently used projects.

  1. Foot Heater: How it started

    How it started

    Originally powered by a Variac, with a toaster heating element in a Styrofoam box, it began as more of a fire hazard than a foot heater.

  2. Foot Heater: Safety upgrades

    Safety upgrades

    I fabricated a metal enclosure, attached the timer, and added an XT60 port and an inline fuse.

  3. Foot Heater: Changed the power source

    Changed the power source

    I replaced the Variac with a triac dimmer in a 3D-printed enclosure.
